Envogue has been operating for more than a decade, according to the salon. Its services cover cuts for all genders and for children under 10, blended and dimensional color, grey coverage, extensions, hair treatments, and styling for special occasions. Stylists are paid on commission rather than booth rent.

The entrance is on the Cherokee Street side of the Prado condominium building. Three client parking spaces sit under the Prado portico, but they are limited. When those are taken, nearby streets marked 2 Hour Parking are free, and paid garages such as the Cultural Center Garage and the Justice Center Parking Garage are close by. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. Booking requires a credit card on file, cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and arriving 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling.

Extensions are a major part of the work. Weft sew-ins use Bellami and Hairtalk wefts sewn onto a beaded foundation in natural hair, with no adhesive. Move-up visits are recommended every four to six weeks, with a full reinstall every third visit. Tape-ins from Hairtalk and Hairdreams place small sections of natural hair between adhesive wefts, with move-ups every six to eight weeks and tapes reused up to three times. Nano Bonded extensions use the Hairdreams Laserbeamer NANO system to create small flat bonds, refreshed every three to six months. Larger transformations can reach $3,500 and up, depending on hair, length, color, method, and goals. An extension consultation costs $50 for one hour and is taken off the service if an install goes ahead. Filler pieces for fullness at the sides start at approximately $350.

Color work includes balayage, which is hand-painted and combined with foil or open-air processing for a soft, low-maintenance grow-out, plus partial and full highlights. Bleach and tone lightens every strand from root to end and requires a consultation before booking. Color correction, including work after DIY color or a visit to another salon, and fashion colors are priced individually based on the processes needed, with a consultation booked first. For grey coverage, options include an all-over color, a pull-through that refreshes color from root to end, and an all-over color with highlights.

Treatments use Kerastase Fusio-Dose, Kerastase Chroma Gloss, and Goldwell Dualsenses. Staff are expected to know luxury lines including Kerastase, Unite, and Shu Uemura. Make-up application is offered by select stylists by appointment only, and larger events often need a trial or consultation. Consultations are recommended for anyone unsure which service to book.

Hairstyling is tailored to each client's hair needs, and treatments are chosen to protect hair integrity and health.
