The room is meant to feel warm and home-like, somewhere guests can relax and feel looked after. It has a reception area and a main styling area, with limited seating, so it suits people who prefer a quiet, small-scale visit. The salon says guest satisfaction is its highest priority.

Each service is customized around the stylist's expertise and demand, the client's hair history, length and density, and any extra services needed. Menu prices are starting rates and can vary by stylist. Color work such as Transformative Color is priced after a consultation, and any services added beyond that consultation are charged with the extra cost shared in advance.

Parking is free in the garage and open lot directly across the street. More spaces are behind the Truist Bank on Sager Avenue, about half a block away.

Appointments are booked by texting (202) 819-4376. Changes or cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice; later changes incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled services, and no-shows or same-day cancellations are charged the full cost of the scheduled services to the card on file. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean a service is adjusted or rebooked. A deposit may be required for extensive work such as color corrections or extensions. Concerns about a service must be raised within 48 hours, and adjustments are ideally made within two weeks with the stylist who did the work. Refunds are not offered for services rendered. Debit cards, Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted, but not cash or personal checks. Tips are appreciated but not expected, and can be sent to stylists by Venmo or Zelle rather than added to a card payment. Guests without appointments are not accommodated in the reception or styling areas.
