Coven Beauty Collective

Coven Beauty Collective was founded in 2026 by Erin Backman and sits in Midtown Sacramento. The salon describes its services as a unique beauty experience and hopes to be a gathering place for people who want to express themselves boldly. Its mission is to offer a space where artistry and ritual meet, with each service designed as an intentional experience.

The salon treats hair as an expression of personal identity and pairs technical skill with intention. Its stated values are alchemy, expertise, artistry, giving and sustainability.

Services are sold as packages. New clients can book an in-person consultation or ask for practitioner pairing to talk through their hair goals, or take the online Divination Tool quiz to be matched with an artist. Clients who are unsure which package fits can contact their chosen artist or call 916.350.4767. Clients are welcome to bring inspiration images to their appointment.

The New Moon Spell is a Moon Phase Experience offered twice a month. It includes a haircut followed by an oracle or tarot reading of the client's choice, and a small amount of the client's hair to take home. The Rituals are the salon's main packaged group: The Spell starts at $120 and takes about 1.5 hours, covering consultation, cleansing, cutting, styling, a scalp treatment and protective styling, and is listed as a new-client ritual. The Ritual starts at $200 and takes about 2.5 hours, covering root touch-ups, glosses or gentle highlights, as an all-over color refresh or mini highlight. The Transformation starts at $360 and The Grand Conjuring starts at $440; both include all treatments and a haircut if the client wants one.
