The business was built by Claudia Colombo, who worked in corporate beauty in the early 1990s at Elizabeth Arden and Bliss Spa. In 2004 she left that world to open a private practice, and the approach taken here grew out of a more holistic view of skin. The guiding idea is that beauty starts from within.
Visits take place at the Broadway studio or virtually. Consultations are personalized, and the studio is described as judgment-free. Each session is designed as a full treatment rather than a quick facial. A credit card secures a reservation, with cash accepted on the day. Changes or cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and missed or late-cancelled appointments are charged the full treatment amount. The site lists seasonal sessions in San Marcos, Texas, while also describing that location as in development.
The clinical menu uses devices and needle-free delivery, including dermaplaning, Jet Glow, JetPeel, LED photofacial, microneedling and plasma rejuvenation. JetPeel is recommended as a series of sessions every one to two weeks, followed by monthly maintenance. The integrative facials bring massage, muscle work and micro-current into the treatment, and the wellness menu draws on fascia work, acupressure and deep-tissue massage.
The Holistic Reset Method, a wellness concept called The Reset, and a training academy round out the business. The Reset is described as expert-led experiences for skin, body and mind, with a retreat rooted in the Texas Hill Country that is currently in development and listed for 2027. The Holistic Beauty Insiders Academy and The Fascia Connection course both have waitlists, and mentorship and training programs are offered to estheticians. The Skin Shoppe sells products, beauty tools, body care and hair care. The business says more than 5,000 people have joined its email list, and new subscribers receive 10% off. Gift cards are also available.
Pairs clinical aesthetic procedures with holistic, intuitive skin care, with personalized consultations and tailored care. The founder's view is that skin care does not need to be complex or invasive.
A private studio that the business describes as judgment-free.
