Cincy Duchess Beauty is run by Tia Wallace from Loft #9 at Signature Beauty Lofts on Montgomery Road in Cincinnati. Henna body art and jagua gel staining are the studio's main offerings, with lash services also available.

Henna at the studio is made from crushed lawsonia inermis leaves and is described as all natural. The studio says jagua is not black henna and that there is no such thing as black henna. Clients with allergies can have a paste mixed in-house from henna powder, black tea, lemon juice and eucalyptus oil. Henna typically stains skin a reddish brown that lasts about one to three weeks, depending on how long the paste is left on. Jagua stains a dark indigo blue for two to three weeks, and darker skin takes a darker stain.

Jagua gel is made from the Amazon fruit Genipa americana mixed with edible ingredients. Clients with fruit allergies are advised to do a small skin test before jagua. Lash services include strip lashes and individual lashes. Henna and jagua prices vary by size and intricacy, so clients are asked to call before booking.
