Chiara Skin Clinic is a small, physician-run practice in Morris Plains, New Jersey, located inside Depasquale the Spa at 4 Gibraltar Drive. Dr. Maria Tempera owns and runs the clinic, combining aesthetic procedures with medical dermatology under one roof.

The clinic works by appointment only and is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 am to 5 pm. It does not take phone calls, so patients are asked to text or email with questions. Changes made within 48 hours of an appointment cost $50, or $100 for Morpheus8 or filler visits, and a no-show without notice is charged $200. The practice is out of network and direct pay, accepts most health insurance, and offers self-pay care for patients without insurance, with medical dermatology fees posted before the visit. Commercial insurance patients may be able to seek reimbursement through their plan's out-of-network benefits.

On the aesthetic side, the menu includes neuromodulators (Botox or Dysport, priced per unit of Dysport), hyaluronic acid fillers starting at $700 depending on how many syringes are needed, and Morpheus8, a radiofrequency and microneedling treatment for the face, neck and body. Morpheus8 is usually recommended as a series of three, with one or two maintenance sessions a year. Microneedling, PRP and microneedling, PRP hair restoration, several VI Peel formulations and ToxBooster, which pairs a VI Peel with neuromodulator injections on the same day, are also available. A Comprehensive Aesthetic Consultation costs $125 and is applied to the cost of procedures if completed.

The medical side covers full-body skin exams using dermoscopy, acne and rosacea evaluation, rash evaluation, spot checks, removal of benign growths and skin biopsies. Biopsy specimens go to a board-certified dermatopathologist through the partner Derm Path, and dermatopathology charges may also be billed through insurance. Follow-up visits are offered for existing patients.

The practice sells Skinbetter Science medical-grade skincare, which is distributed only through authorized physician partners. Products are bought through Dr. Tempera's online store, and shoppers need to sign up through her link first.

The practice describes an unrushed, welcoming, physician-led model in which Dr. Tempera personally sees and evaluates each patient. Care is thorough and holistic, with a personalized at-home skincare routine built alongside in-office treatments.
