Visits start with a consultation that covers hair needs, matching with a stylist and budget, so clients understand each step, including pricing. New guests complete a private intake form and a free in-person consultation with their stylist before a first service, which is not offered on Saturdays. Clients unsure which service or stylist to book can leave their details for the salon to call back, or take the Meet Your Stylist quiz. Prices shown are starting prices, and an up charge may apply for longer or thicker hair. Stylist-level services cost less and may run longer while the stylist builds experience, and Protégé stylists typically have 2 to 5 years in the industry. Designers have completed the Chémel Master Education.

The salon uses Davines hair color exclusively, which it describes as high-end and at the top of the industry. Its Premier color is a single-process color made with Davines Mask or Davines View semi-permanent color, and it requires a virtual consultation before an appointment request is accepted. Online booking covers one-step color only; highlights and dimensional color are booked by calling 253-548-8910. The online shop also carries Maria Nila and other brands, along with gift certificates and styling tools, and the salon offers home haircare guidance with product recommendations.

Each service reservation carries a $6 eco-fee, which covers shipping most of an appointment's waste out and funds other sustainable work in the salon. A rain garden is on site.

Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, or a non-refundable charge of up to the full service amount may apply. New online guests are asked for a $25 deposit for haircuts, or up to 25% of the cost for larger appointments, which is refundable with 24 hours' notice; new phone bookings put a credit card on file. Children with a Kids Cut appointment are welcome, but a parent must arrange child care for any service over 30 minutes, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are not allowed except service animals. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Wednesday through Friday 9:30 AM to 7 PM; the salon is closed on Sundays. A wheelchair ramp is at the front of the building, but the bathroom is not ADA accessible due to the building's age and zoning.
