Chartreuse Studio

Meghan Mello and Claudia Kelley co-own the studio, which operates from Suite 205 at US Salon Studios on Atwood Avenue. Parking is in the lot out front, with street parking on Luigi Street when the lot is full, and wifi is available for clients.

Custom color is priced by the hour, and clients pay only for the time they use. The stylist gives an estimated total before a session begins, and new clients booking custom color are asked to start with a complimentary consultation. There are three session lengths: a two-hour mini for focused work in one area, a three-hour partial for color through part of the head, and a four-hour full session for the whole head or larger changes. Express color includes glosses, which can be booked on their own or added to a root retouch, and root retouches for solid all-over grey coverage.

The studio is gratuity-free, and pricing for every service is gender-neutral. It describes itself as gender neutral and a safe space for all, and it is registered with Strands for Trans.

Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours notice by email. Changes made 24 to 48 hours before an appointment carry a fee of half the service price, and cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows are charged the full service. A 15-minute grace period applies to late arrivals. Services are non-refundable, and concerns are handled through an adjustment, which must be requested within 7 days of the appointment and completed by the stylist who performed the original service. Clean, dry hair is preferred, and clients may bring inspiration photos.

Color is priced by the hour with an estimate given before each session, and every service is priced without gender distinctions.
