Appointments are required. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, and other times can be arranged by appointment. Bookings are made by contacting the salon directly, and cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Shampoo and conditioning are included with haircut, color, and styling services.
Braids or extensions need to be removed before the visit, and hair should be free of tangles. Tangled hair is charged as an additional service, and guests cannot join appointments.
The academy's cosmetology and apprenticeship program runs 1500 hours. Theory and related study can be done online through its GoTech program. The academy also offers continuing education, seasonal cosmetology camps for tweens and teens, private one-on-one classes, small group training, online courses, hands-on coaching, and cosmetology counseling. It partners with local salons for apprenticeships and provides job placement support. The academy states a 100% success rate on the state board exam.
