Stylists are organized into a level system that runs from Level 5 Master Stylists down to apprentices. Every price starts with a Level 1 provider, and color pricing also reflects the education, demand and level of the stylist. The salon says its team is continually educated by national artists featured by Redken and Pureology, and it describes itself as a Summit salon and a Redken Elite Salon.
Before booking, guests can arrange a virtual consultation to be matched with the right service. Every service begins with a complimentary consultation. A haircut includes the consultation, shampoo, cut, rough dry and a finish with brush, and most hair design services take about 45 minutes, with add-ons and long or thick hair needing more time.
Color options run from quick permanent color that covers the part and hairline between appointments, to retouches for new growth or blended grey, toners and glazes for refreshing or neutralizing existing color, and fantasy and ombre work. Color correction for uneven tones, brassiness or dye mishaps requires a consultation and may take several sessions. Decolorizing, foil, baby-lights and balayage are available in the blonding menu, and specialty color packages require a consultation first. Listed color prices are base prices, and extra length, density, bowls, product or processing time may add a charge.
Bridal parties can reserve the salon on open scheduled days after a consultation. Reservations require a signed contract, a deposit and a bride's trial run, and must be paid in full a month before the date. The package includes a complimentary bottle of champagne and a light breakfast. The salon recommends setting a bridal color or cut two to four weeks before the wedding and a bridal trial about two weeks before. The salon also runs an Associate Program that trains new stylists hands-on with an educator, and it works with traditional and cosmetology students when hiring.
