Melissa Leitru founded Wild Honey Salon in August 2017 after years of working at several salons around Cincinnati. The business began as a four-chair salon and grew into a nine-chair space rented to independent stylists. A nail studio with four chairs was added within the salon in 2024, and the salon describes its services as tailored to each client's personality and lifestyle. The salon is guided by a good-in, good-out philosophy that it sums up in a short motto about seeking and spreading good. It aims to be creative, calm and inclusive. Each stylist and nail tech works independently, sets their own bookings and may keep policies beyond the salon standard, so prices vary by professional and questions go to the salon by email or to the individual stylist. The salon is open seven days a week by appointment only. Hours are Monday 10 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Friday 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM, though daily hours depend on which stylists are working. First-time hair clients can email to ask which service to book, and a first-time hair consultation of 15 to 30 minutes, from $15, can be booked before the appointment. The stylist may run a patch test during that consultation. Silent appointments are available on request. The phone number is (513) 452-3757, and the salon has no receptionist, so callers can leave a message or email. Wild Honey Creative Space, at 3962 Montgomery Road next door, opened in 2026 as a separate venue. It hosts small group workshops, classes, pop-ups and special events, and extends the salon's philosophy toward connection, self-expression and community collaboration. A newsletter sign-up is available for event news. Parking is free in the lot on the north side of the building. Free street parking is next to the salon on Prentiss Ave., and metered parking is directly in front on Montgomery Road.
