Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 12 hours' notice, and later cancellations and no-shows carry a 50% service fee. Children should not come along unless they are receiving a service. Buy now, pay later options are accepted, and gift cards are offered. Waxing, covering brows, lip, chin and facial hair with hard wax, is only available as an add-on to another appointment.

Bridal and private event work is a large part of the business. Bridal parties travel free within 15 miles of the salon and pay $1 per mile beyond that. Bridal bookings require a signed contract and a card on file, with the final balance due 7 days before the wedding. Each bridal stylist serves up to 6 people, with a minimum of 4 services per stylist for on-location bookings. Bridal parties receive $10 off their first blowout at the salon. Setup is $50 per artist, an early start before 8 AM is $50 per artist, and an overnight stay is a local hotel plus $150 per stylist. The Special Event Package is $500 for 2 hours for up to 6 people, and the Princess Package is $375 for 2 hours for up to 6 children aged 4 to 12. Memberships range from The Classic Burly at $50 a month to The Luxe Burly at $160 a month, and benefits exclude makeup, waxing and specialty styles. Booth rental spaces with weekly, monthly or day rates are offered for full-color stylists in the Color Bar.
