BRSH was created by owner and founder Cheyanne Clark. The Salon by BRSH sits inside the Hair Spa by BRSH, a scalp spa and blow-dry bar, so a visit can combine salon work with scalp care and styling. The salon describes itself as a full-service luxury salon and aims for a premium feel. The space is calm, peaceful and modern.

The salon offers hair color, hair extensions, haircuts, highlights and upstyles. Every stylist on the team specializes in treating and styling extensions. Within the spa, services include scalp treatments, blow-drys and styling, and the menu also includes facials, including hydra-facials.

Parking depends on the length of the visit. Clients booking services longer than two hours are asked to park in front of the building, while shorter appointments are asked to use street parking on Hillview Street. New clients are asked to complete a new client form before their first visit. Cancellations or reschedules are requested at least 24 hours ahead, and late cancellation fees are described as reimbursement for the provider rather than a penalty.

Retail is part of the experience. The salon carries R+Co and Bleu hair products. The online shop sells BRSH brushes and combs, hair accessories, hair bundles, hair clips, scrunchies and headbands, with free shipping on all orders. Accessories are final sale, while products may be returned for account credit within 7 days of purchase if a client is unhappy after one to two uses.
