The studio is in Imperial Business Park at 15500 Voss Rd, and visits are by appointment only, so walk-ins are not accepted. Free parking is available on site. Services also go out on location in Houston, Katy and Pearland, and out of state, and travel without the bride needs at least four people per service so a team can be sent.
BASE Academy teaches clients to do their own hair and makeup.
Pricing is published, though an online estimate builder uses the same rates and estimates are not binding until the contract sets the final price. A bridal package in the studio is $400 and includes hair, makeup with mink lashes, and sari, dupatta and jewellery setting, while the specialised hair version is $500. On-location packages are $550 within Houston city and suburbs and $1,000 outside, and a bridal package can take up to three hours to complete.
Booking requires a deposit of 50%, which reserves the date. Once the contract is signed, the deposit cannot be refunded or moved to another date or person. The rest of the fee is paid in one lump sum during the week before the appointment. If the artist cancels, the whole deposit goes back to the client within two weeks. Payment can be made by Venmo, Zelle, debit or credit card, check, or cash.
Pricing is published across the menu, and the contract sets the final price for every booking.
