About
Asra is the owner and lead artist, and founded Bridal Art Studio, Inc. She works in the chair herself on the bridal looks, creating hair and makeup for South Asian and Western weddings.
Her work covers traditional and airbrush makeup, hair with padding and specialised sets, and draping of sari, dupatta and jewellery. She has been behind the chair for 15 or more years and works with brides as well as the mothers, sisters, bridesmaids and others getting ready for mehndi, nikah, walima and reception events. She also teaches the BASE Academy classes offered by the studio.
