Medical dermatology is offered to patients of all ages, with recommendations tailored to each person. Conditions treated include acne, actinic keratosis, alopecia areata, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, warts, nail fungus, moles and hair loss. The annual skin cancer screening is a head-to-toe skin check, and any suspicious spots are either noted for follow-up or biopsied during the same visit. The practice also evaluates and treats precancerous and cancerous lesions, and offers first evaluations and second opinions on whether Mohs surgery or another skin cancer treatment fits.
Mohs micrographic surgery removes skin cancer one layer at a time, with each layer examined under a microscope during the visit. It is performed under local anesthesia. Because the length of the procedure cannot be predicted in advance, patients are asked to set aside the entire day. The method removes only the cancerous tissue, which suits areas where minimizing scarring matters, such as the face. The practice states that Mohs has the highest cure rate of any skin cancer treatment.
The cosmetic menu covers chemical peels (including PCA peels and the Perfect Peel, in formulations for acne, pigmentation, aging skin and dull complexions), neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, which can be used alone or alongside fillers, dermal fillers, light and laser therapies, body contouring and skin tightening. Microneedling with PRP and dermaplaning are also offered. For facial treatments, the HydraFacial line includes Signature, Deluxe, Platinum, Clarifying Back and Syndeo options, with listed prices of $199, $275, $325 and $350 for the first four. The practice notes that prices are subject to change without notice.
