Karin Brooks, MD

Karin Brooks, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at the Washington, DC office of Braun Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center. Her work covers adult and pediatric dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology. She earned a bachelor's degree in human biology at Stanford University, where she was invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, did an internal medicine internship there, and then trained in dermatology at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento. For several years she conducted NIH-sponsored dermatology research at the University of California, San Francisco.
