Knotless braids are installed with a feed-in technique that the studio describes as putting less tension on the hair than traditional box braids, with hair included. Mermaid boho braids blend curly human hair through each braid, including the ends. The Ultra Mermaid Bohos are the largest option: each braid has three to four curly pieces, three bundles of 100% virgin human hair, and a choice of deep wave, loose wave, or wet and wavy texture. Because the hair is ordered in advance, these need to be booked at least two weeks ahead.

Clients are asked to arrive with hair freshly washed, detangled and free of product, and to avoid fresh trims, cuts or relaxers beforehand. Hair is oiled and moisturized during the service, and deep conditioning before a protective style is recommended. Shampoo and blow-dry are not included for Miracle Knots and crochet styles. A reminder goes out 48 hours before each appointment.
