DeEra has been styling hair since 2016 and owns the business. Work is scheduled with enough time because the business does not rush appointments, and clients are encouraged to reach out with any questions about their visit before it happens. First-time clients can book a 30-minute consultation for $50 to talk through hair loss.
Booking starts with a $51 deposit, sent by Apple Pay or Cash App right after booking, and the appointment is not held without it. The address is shared once the deposit is paid, and the remaining balance is paid in cash. Lace wigs, closures, frontals, bundles and hair being dyed need to be dropped off two days ahead. Same-day bookings carry a $30 fee on top of the service price, and appointments after 8:00 PM cost $50 extra. Add-ons must be booked in advance, though same-day customization can be added when booking.
The business also runs one-on-one lace training lasting about four and a half hours for $800. Students work hands-on with bleaching and toning knots and with plucking and laying lace, and the business supplies the hair. Deposits are non-refundable unless the business cancels, rescheduling requires a new deposit, sales are final once the client leaves the chair, and guests who are not being serviced are not allowed at appointments.
The studio does not rush work and aims to give each client the best service it can, with open communication before and during the visit.
