Body Haus is located at 3165 Alpine Ave NW in Walker, Michigan. Carley is the owner and master esthetician, and the studio's services range from brows and lashes to skin treatments, waxing, permanent makeup and body contouring.

About

Brow services include tints, laminations, and a combined brow and lash bundle called Bomb Brows + Lashes, which saves $10 when booked together. Lash options run from lifts and tints, including a Korean lash lift and tint, to classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume extensions, with fills priced by style.

The skin menu includes facials tailored after a skin analysis, dermaplaning, high frequency and LED add-ons, and a range of chemical peels such as lactic acid, salicylic acid, Jessner's, TCA and a vitamin A peel. Peels are booked only after skin prep and any contraindications have been cleared, and clients book by phone or direct message. The salon calls its Dermaplane Glow Facial its most popular facial. A Teen Facial includes a lesson on product knowledge and skin concerns.

Hair removal covers waxing and sugaring for most areas of the face and body. Clients on retinoids or Accutane cannot have their brows waxed because of increased skin sensitivity. First-time Brazilian waxes, and waxes after more than six weeks, need hair about the length of a grain of rice, so longer hair must be trimmed first.

Permanent makeup includes brow work, nano powder brows using pixelated machine shading, lip blushing, and faux freckles. Lip blushing and nano powder brows are scheduled by call, email, direct message or text rather than online, and a non-refundable deposit secures an initial microblading or lip blushing appointment. A touch up within six to eight weeks completes an initial permanent makeup service, and a color boost is recommended about once a year for clients whose first permanent makeup was done at Body Haus.

Body contouring uses radio frequency, ultrasound cavitation and laser lipolysis on the stomach, thighs, love handles or back, one area per package. The salon describes it as a non-invasive alternative to liposuction and says up to 3 cm can be lost from a treated area per session, though results vary by person. Sessions run about an hour, and at least six are recommended. Clients may feel mild pinching during the vacuum therapy portion.

The studio is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday. Skin treatments are tailored after an analysis where relevant, and chemical peels are booked only once skin prep and contraindications have been cleared.
