According to the About page, BlushBabes launched nearly four years ago and is run by two co-founders, makeup artists Alexiz and Karen. The studio says it has worked with hundreds of clients and describes its makeup as long lasting and flawless.

Appointments are booked through the online form, where clients can ask for Karen or Alexiz. Studio hours run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and bookings before 8:00 AM or after 6:00 PM carry a $10 fee. Every appointment requires a deposit. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late forfeit the deposit, though a grace period of up to 15 minutes applies. If the studio is notified two days ahead, the deposit can move to a rescheduled appointment, subject to availability.

Brides can start with a bridal makeup trial or a bride consultation, where they talk through expectations, share inspiration and try different styles. The consultation includes a detailed face chart of the client's wishes for the day. Bridal packages pair makeup or hair and makeup with an optional charcuterie and mimosas experience for the bridal party.

Makeup options range from a 30-minute soft glam to longer full and extra glam looks, plus special effects work and a two-hour one-on-one class where a makeup artist walks through a routine step by step. Hairstyles are also offered. On-location hair and makeup is available for parties of two or more services, including weddings, quinceañeras and events, and a travel fee may apply, discussed at booking. The studio states that its products are hypoallergenic and asks clients to report allergies or sensitivities before an appointment.

Each look is planned around the individual client, with the aim of a personalized result that suits the occasion.
