Curly cuts are the salon's core. Stylists do not sort hair by curl typing systems such as 3C or 4B. Instead they look at each client's curl pattern, density and goals. A cut begins with a dry cut shaped to a silhouette of the client's hair using the salon's Lune Technique, followed by cleansing, rehydrating and styling. Each curly cut client leaves with a home care routine. Clients should arrive with their hair detangled, styled with their preferred products and dry, and not in ponytails, buns, twists or braids. The stylist assesses hair before service and may add charges for length and density, and clients should plan for at least two hours. Between full cuts, the BV Curly Cut Express is a maintenance option for return clients that helps prevent split ends and refreshes a previous curly cut. It cuts up to 2 inches and does not include a wash and style.

Color is built on the client's natural shade as a base, with low, mid and high tones lifted for a lived-in finish. Color maintenance typically includes a glaze every 8 to 10 weeks and a partial CreatedLights session every 16 to 18 weeks. For CreatedLights with color, clients are asked to arrive with clean, detangled, dry hair, avoid shampooing that day and disclose any coloring product allergies. Clients are also advised to avoid high-end, light-colored or silk blouses, and the salon uses double draping.

The straight cut includes a hair health analysis, a dry cut, a scalp detox, deep conditioning on the ends, and then a precision cut and styling with home products the stylist recommends. Clients who are not satisfied can contact the salon within 7 days of their visit for a redo. The salon does not guarantee specific results from hair services. Retail products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, but an in-salon treatment of equal value can be redeemed within 14 days of purchase. Accessories that break within 30 days of purchase are replaced.

The salon's stylists continue their education in curly hair, cutting and styling, and hold certifications in Rezo, Daze, See Some Curls and Black Girl Magic. Ranan is sold wholesale to salons and is sold directly to clients who have had a consultation with the salon.
