Beyond Beautiful by Melissa operates three medical spa locations: one in Greenwich, Connecticut, and two in Westchester County, New York, in Scarsdale and Chappaqua. The practice was built by Melissa around longer appointments and direct consultations, and the business describes itself as direct with its clients. Each location runs by appointment only, one client at a time, so the front door is not always staffed between bookings and clients are asked to call ahead. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday closed.

Every treatment starts with a consultation, which is a conversation rather than a commitment. Clients are not expected to decide on the day and may leave without booking. Numbing cream or local numbing is used where it helps, and clients are told before anything begins. Many treatments are spread across several visits, so results can be reviewed before the next step. The business notes that all of its treatments are temporary to some degree, and expected duration is explained at consultation. If a treatment is not a good fit, clients hear that at the consultation and may be referred elsewhere for needs the business does not cover.

The range covers injectables and wrinkle treatments for forehead lines, lines between the brows and lines at the eye corners, and dermal fillers for cheeks, under-eye hollows, jawline, lips and folds around the mouth. PDO thread lifts, which are dissolvable sutures placed under the skin, are offered for skin that has started to descend, most often along the jawline, cheeks or brow. PRP uses the client's own platelet-rich plasma, drawn on the day of the appointment. Morpheus8 pairs micro-needling with radiofrequency for texture and firmness, and IPL photofacials use pulsed light for redness and sun damage. Laser hair removal is a planned series timed around how hair grows. Medical-grade facials include cleansing, exfoliation, extraction as needed, and actives chosen for the client's skin.

Skincare is a part of the work as well. The business is an official SkinCeuticals provider, and products are selected at consultation. Clients can ask for a product to be set aside for them, and availability is noted to vary by location. Private skincare parties are also offered.

Locations differ slightly. The Scarsdale location, on Weaver Street near the Quaker Ridge side of town, is the busiest of the three and has many long-standing clients. Its appointments are spaced so no one is rushed through a treatment room. Street parking runs along Weaver Street, with off-street parking at the storefront, and the Scarsdale Metro-North station is about ten minutes away on the Harlem line. The Chappaqua location, on South Greeley Avenue in downtown Chappaqua, is the newest and a short walk from the Metro-North station; parking is available at the municipal lot by the station, in lots behind the storefronts, and on the avenue. The Greenwich location is at 522 E Putnam Ave, Suite #6. Greenwich serves Cos Cob, Riverside, Old Greenwich and nearby areas, Scarsdale serves Quaker Ridge, Heathcote, Edgewood and nearby areas, and Chappaqua serves New Castle, Millwood, Armonk and nearby areas.

Private parties are available for groups of at least six guests. A party is booked for two hours at one location, closed to other clients, and each guest has an individual consultation before any treatment. Gift cards can be bought online as eGift cards in $5, $10, $20, $50 or a custom amount, or purchased at any time, and they can be used toward any service. An appointment fee of $100 is collected before the visit and applies toward the service, and it is refunded in full if no service is given. Appointments can be cancelled up to 48 hours ahead without penalty, and inside 48 hours the deposit is non-refundable.

Conservative and staged: a consultation comes before any treatment, and the plan moves in steps that clients review along the way.

Scarsdale appointments are spaced so clients are not rushed, and Chappaqua consultations are unhurried.
