The salon's philosophy is that skin does not respond to one standard routine, so products and home care are adjusted to each client's skin, comfort level, lifestyle and any contraindications. Every service begins with a thorough consultation and includes suggested home care. Gabrielle uses her instinct and experience to shape each treatment around the person in the chair.

A typical visit is a facial, which combines touch, massage, products and aromatherapy, according to the salon. Most clients book a 60-minute facial about once a month, while 30 or 45-minute sessions suit people with less time or skin that is in maintenance mode. The back facial is a longer treatment that includes a double cleanse, exfoliation, extractions, oxygenation, a hot stone massage and aromatherapy. Extractions use a hydro process with ultrasound and water to clear pores; the salon notes that the process is not completely painless.

The salon describes itself as a judgment-free, relaxing space for learning about clean beauty. It says it uses clean ingredients and is transparent about its chemicals, and that it only buys from brands that are Leaping Bunny approved and does not test on animals. Its backbar skincare is Bonnie, made locally in Chicago. Hair removal is done with Tamara's Organic sugar paste, which the salon says is USDA certified organic. Every service can be customized for vegan clients, with honey-based backbar products swapped for vegan options, and treatments are tailored to personal preferences and allergies.
