Bella Lina Salon opened in June 2022, when owner Selina Rae launched her own salon. Selina started working in hair straight out of high school and has since worked in salons from Warwick to East Greenwich. Clients have come from across Rhode Island to see her.
The salon is set up around independent professionals. Each stylist controls their own schedule, so availability varies, and clients are asked to call or text the salon to check openings before booking. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday by appointment and is closed Sunday and Monday.
Every service starts with a free consultation. Services cover short cuts from pixie to bob, long hair styling such as beachy waves and sleek straight looks, keratin smoothing for frizzy or unruly hair, hair extensions, hair and scalp treatments, highlights and color including touch-ups and color changes, and special occasion styling such as wedding, prom and event updos.
Retail shelves carry Amika, IGK, Kenra, Redken, Keratin Complex, Hempz and the Brews for Men line. The salon also sells handmade bows from Arabella's Bowtique and handmade wall hangings by stylist Merry Shaw.
Each stylist works independently, and clients check availability directly with the salon before booking.
