Stylists share an open floor rather than working in back rooms, and they are available to answer questions. Pricing is tiered by experience, with stylists grouped as Advanced, Senior and Junior and priced accordingly. The salon says its stylists are equally skilled but each has a distinct style, so it suggests browsing each stylist's work and social media before booking. Stylists are paid on commission.

Extensions are a major focus, with a dedicated extension artist for the Inches by Ello service. Every extension starts with a required consultation, which costs $50 and is applied to the service. The salon offers Volume Weft, Genius Weft, Keratin Tip, Tape In and I-Tip methods, and states it is certified in five methods of application. A deposit is due before the hair is purchased and the balance at installation. Extension hair is nonrefundable, and adjustments don't include a wash and style unless added at booking. The salon calls its extension loft luxury, provides a care guide, and says it cannot guarantee extension integrity if care tips are not followed.

Online booking covers individual and group appointments, memberships and gift cards. A credit or debit card is required to reserve any appointment. Cancellations made after the 48-hour window are charged 50% of the service, same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service, and arriving 15 minutes late counts as a no-show. The cancellation policy also applies to consultations. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11am to 6pm, Thursday 11am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm, with Tuesdays closed.
