Beleza Beauty Spa was established in 2012 and was founded by its owner, Fernanda Santos. The spa describes itself as top quality and says CBS New York voted it one of the top five places for waxing in NYC.

About

The menu is grouped into brows, lashes, facials, waxing and body services. Facials are built around Eminence Organics, a skin care line the spa sells as an authorized retailer, and several treatments use technology such as microdermabrasion, oxygen and microcurrent. The Organic Mini Facial lets clients choose a mask for sensitive, dry, oily, combination or acne skin, and the Customized Acne Solution Treatment begins with a consultation covering lifestyle, diet and acne history.

Brazilian waxing is offered in several versions, including a standard Brazilian or bikini wax, a women-only Royal Brazilian that adds microdermabrasion and a high-frequency ingrown hair treatment, and a Vajacial for ingrown hairs and bumps along the bikini line. According to the spa, its Brazilian waxing is performed by Brazilian technicians. Waxing uses a roll-on that the client owns and the spa stores for the next visit, with no sharing or double dipping. Clients who book Brazilian waxing also receive a sampler-size product for home aftercare.

Appointments can be booked online through the website. The spa is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm, and it is closed on Sundays. Gift cards are offered, and balances can be checked online. Full body waxing appointments are charged the full price for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead. Microcurrent facial packages of six are available at a discount, and the spa recommends four sessions in the first month, two in the second, then one a month for six months of maintenance.
