Beauty Lux Station is a small studio on Mt Pleasant Street in Washington, DC, run by owner and lead esthetician Monica. The menu is built mainly around waxing, with lash and brow services alongside.

The waxing menu covers full body areas, from underarms and stomach to full back, arms and full legs, as well as facial areas such as lips, sideburns, cheeks and the full face. Brazilian, bikini line, bikini full and butt strip options are offered, along with a full chest service. The waxes are vegan, cruelty free and hypoallergenic, and they are free from beeswax and resin. The business describes its waxing as painless. Disposable robes are available for waxing clients, and clients are asked to arrive clean, avoid lotion and natural oils, wear loose clothing and skip shaving between appointments. Wax bundles of three, six or twelve Brazilian sessions are booked ahead and priced as bundles.

Vajacial treatments are a signature here. The Signature Vajacial Mask Treatment takes about 30 minutes and includes steaming, exfoliation, ingrown extractions as needed and a hydrogel mask. A lighter Express Hydrating mask-only option is available, and a Brazilian plus Vajacial with extractions combines the two. A Vajazzle add-on applies a crystal design to the bikini area with skin-safe adhesive.

Lash services include full sets in anime, brown, wispy, wet set, hybrid or light volume, volume, mega volume and custom styles. Monica designs custom sets around eye shape, lifestyle and lash health, using luxury fibers in several curls and volume levels, from soft natural looks to full volume. Fills are scheduled two to three weeks after a full set, when at least 40 percent of lashes remain. A fill past three weeks counts as an extended fill and needs at least 15 percent of lashes remaining. A one week touch up is booked seven days after the prior appointment. Lashes applied by another artist can be filled as a foreign lash fill at a higher price. After a lash set, clients are asked to avoid water and steam for 24 hours, skip mascara, use oil-free products and not curl the new lashes. A lash aftercare kit with shampoo, brush and travel spoolie is sold on site.

Brow services include brow tinting, waxing with tint, brow lamination and lamination with tint. The studio also sells Bushbalm skin care, including ingrown hair scrubs, dark spot oils and a post-wax breakout defense mask.

The studio uses vegan, cruelty free, hypoallergenic waxes and pre- and post-wax products that are described as fragrance free and nontoxic. Lash sets are planned around each client's eye shape, lifestyle and lash health.
