The menu centers on protective braiding. Services include knotless braids, which are installed by feeding hair into the natural roots with no knot at the scalp, along with box braids, cornrows, feed-in braids and feed-in cornrows, goddess styles (also called goddess or boho braids), tribal braids, twists, braids with curls and custom braided styles. The studio also offers bridal and event styling. According to the salon, knotless braids last about four to six weeks with proper care.

Each visit begins with a consultation covering the look a client has in mind, their hair history, the length they want and their timing. During the appointment, parting and tension are adjusted for comfort. Before a client leaves, Yulis gives styling guidance and care advice for the scalp, edges and nightly protection. Hair should arrive clean and fully detangled. If it needs extensive detangling on arrival, an additional fee applies based on the time and effort involved.

The studio also offers a Braids Gift Package for $300. It includes a private consultation, a premium braid style chosen by the recipient and aftercare guidance. The package has no expiration date, so the recipient books when they are ready. Appointment requests receive a reply within 24 hours to confirm availability and details.

Beauty By Yulis is based in Cutler Bay and takes clients from there and from nearby South Miami and South Dade. Yulis also makes appointment-only trips to Homestead, Doral, Miami, Coral Gables, Kendall, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay and the Keys, and will go to Key West, Islamorada and Key Largo when asked. Men's work in the portfolio includes scalp braids and cornrows with a fade. The website is offered in English and Spanish, and the Spanish menu shows the same braiding services.
