Beauty by Kreme is run by owner Shontel Mayers from a suite inside My Salon Suites, a short distance from PF Chang's and the Mall of Georgia. The business describes itself as combining holistic wellness with healthy hair care, and it works with all hair textures.

Every visit begins with a personalized consultation about the client's goals and concerns. Services are customized, and clients leave with a care plan, home lifestyle tips, custom aftercare advice and product suggestions. Appointments may include a scalp massage, steam hydration or a custom treatment chosen for the hair.

The studio is quiet and private, with one-on-one attention and no waiting area, so each appointment is the only client in the room. Tools and surfaces are sanitized between clients with hospital-grade disinfectants, and capes, towels and linens are fresh for every guest.

Signature services include the Micro Cheek Bob, a face-framing bob with graduated layers suited to straight to wavy hair, the Signature Blonde Bob, a precision cut with a soft root shadow and multi-dimensional blonde, and the Signature Silk Press, a thermal smoothing treatment adjusted to each client's texture.
