The salon covers three areas: hair, hands and feet, and makeup with waxing. Hair services include women's and men's cuts, blow dries and special occasion styling, gray blending, highlights and balayage, and treatments such as the Brazilian Blow Out family and conditioning. Nail services run from quick and regular manicures and pedicures to lush versions with a masque and hot towel, Shellac gel manicures and pedicures, polish changes, callus and gel removal, and custom nail art.
Pedicures are done in natural stone basins rather than pedicure tubs, which the salon says helps limit bacteria and odor. The nail spa has no whirlpool and uses pedicure bowls instead of thrones or jets.
Booking is by phone, and a deposit is needed to hold an appointment. If nobody picks up, callers can leave a message, and the salon says it returns messages within one business day. Custom nail art has to be arranged by calling ahead, and exact designs are not guaranteed because each nail technician works in their own style. Refunds are not offered on services, and unopened products can be returned within 14 days with the original receipt.
Stylists say they keep up their training on technique and current trends for cutting, color, styling, extensions, blow outs and other hair treatments. The salon describes itself as having received the Best Life-Changing Salon award from LA Weekly for community work and as rated Best of Beauty & Spas on Yelp.com.
The salon says it focuses on non-toxic products and services for nails and the body.
