Joana runs the studio herself and is its only therapist, so the person you book is the person who treats you at every visit. She began working in bodywork and skin about thirteen years ago in luxury hotel spas, including a Marriott property in Dana Point. She has run her own studio since 2020, moved it to Tustin in 2025, and opened Beauty Balance Lounge there.

Every visit starts with a consultation before the treatment begins. The menu is grouped into massage, signature facials, advanced and clinical facials, back treatments, lash, more treatments, packages and couples services. A short quiz on the site asks whether the concern is with the body, skin or lashes, then points to matching treatments.

On the facial side, a First Visit consultation facial lets the esthetician read the skin before choosing cleansing, exfoliation and products. A Level 3 chemical peel is not recommended for a first visit, so a consultation facial is suggested beforehand. Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical blade to remove the top layer of skin and fine hair and is paired with LED light therapy. Nano Infusion uses micro pins to help hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and peptides absorb more deeply and is aimed at pigmentation, fine lines and texture.

Massage sessions run 45, 60 or 90 minutes, with dry-cupping and hot stone options. A couples massage places two tables side by side in one private room, with each person receiving a full body massage, and is reserved by phone. Mobile massage is given at a client's home, office or another chosen spot; Joana confirms the time, place and treatment, then quotes the price and travel once she knows the location. A massage and enzyme facial duo fits into one two-hour appointment.

Every massage, facial and lash lift is performed personally by the owner, and a consultation comes before every treatment.

The studio is calm and personal, in a small suite with one therapist.
