It has three studios: a Northeast location in Bluegrass Plaza on Welsh Road (215-603-2484), a Newtown location in the Village of Newtown South (215-600-9371), and a Center City space on the second floor of Walnut Street (215-367-1664), which was formerly known as Lashbee. The salon describes itself as Philadelphia's premier lash and brow destination and as the premiere place for lash extensions in Philadelphia and Newtown, and says it is committed to superior service and quality.
The menu is built around lash extensions in several styles. Classic sets add one extension to each natural lash and suit clients with full natural lashes. Hybrid sets, also called classic mixed with volume, combine both types for a wispy, feathered finish. Volume sets place fans of two to four handmade lashes on each natural lash, and mega volume sets use eight to fifteen finer lashes per natural lash. Other options include glamorous classic sets with single extensions for a bolder look, wet mascara sets with narrow closed fans for a textured wet effect, and the Clean Girl Look, which applies classic extensions to about 60% of natural lashes for a subtle finish. Beyond extensions, the salon offers lash lifts with or without tint, lash and brow tints, brow lamination, lash removal, and waxing or threading for brows and lips.
Every service is by appointment only. Pricing is shown on the online booking link and varies by location. Clients should arrive with the eye area clean, free of eye makeup, and with contacts removed; arriving in eye makeup brings a Lash Bath fee. A patch test checks sensitivity before a lash service. A full set takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the style and number of natural lashes, and a fill takes about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Hours differ by location. Northeast is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM. Newtown is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6:30 PM and weekends 9 AM to 4 PM. Center City is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. All locations close on major holidays.
After application, eyes should stay dry and out of steam for at least 24 hours. Water-based mascara is advised on classic extensions, since oil-based and waterproof formulas can dissolve the adhesive, and eyelash curlers are not recommended on the pre-curled extensions. Extensions are expected to shed around six weeks after application with proper care, and fills every two to three weeks help keep the set full. A refill needs at least 40% of extensions still in place; otherwise a full set or a four-week refill is required. Extensions are not recommended for people with certain eyelid or eye conditions, regular exposure to chlorinated water, or a past reaction to the main adhesive ingredient. The salon is not responsible for allergic reactions and does not refund a service because of one, but it removes extensions at no cost. For clients trying extensions again after a reaction, a sensitive glue option is available with a new patch test recommended.
The business also trains lash artists. Courses run eight hours at a stated 3:1 student-teacher ratio. Classic training covers extension basics, setup, safety and sanitation, product knowledge, troubleshooting, business planning, and social media and photo editing, with practice on a mannequin and a live model. Pricing listed by the salon is 1000 dollars for group classic training, 1200 for private classic, 1400 for private volume, and 2200 for classic and volume over two days. Refreshers are 600 for classic and 850 for volume, and lash lift training and business mentorship are each 650. A 50% deposit holds a seat, with the balance due one week before class. Class fees and deposits are non-refundable, though payment can move to another date in the same year with at least three weeks notice. Students receive continued mentorship and may practice in offered space afterward.
Safety comes first: a patch test before lash services, a sensitive adhesive option for clients who have reacted before, and written aftercare guidance. The salon says its extensions are designed to look natural, so that when done well they are hard to tell apart from natural lashes.
