Be.Twisted

Be.Twisted is a loc studio run by Neshia on South Michigan Avenue in the South Loop. The studio does not offer sister locs or micro locs.

Starter locs, repairs and extensions begin with a consultation, which can be in person or virtual. During the consultation the hair is assessed and a price estimate is given before any work is booked. Hair is washed at the appointment.

Booking is done online through Acuity. Calendars open on the second Monday of each month at 12:00 PM for the following month, and squeeze-ins and Monday appointments are also listed, with Mondays by request only. Last-minute openings are not always available and may carry an upcharge.

The studio's policies are firm. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is applied to the service, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours ahead or the deposit is forfeited, and late arrivals may be charged extra or canceled. No-shows pay the full price plus a rebooking fee, all sales are final, and the stylist may decline any client. The studio can be reached by call or text at 312-200-8773.
