The salon was created by owner Tiffany Murphy as a space built around community, creativity and connection. Because it is a collective, each stylist sets their own schedule, skillset and prices, so availability and cost depend on who you book with.

Every service includes a consultation and a luxury shampoo and style. First-time clients start with a consultation that covers lifestyle, budget, hair goals and what they like or dislike about their hair. The salon creates a custom color for each client and records it before each visit. Walk-ins are accepted, and appointments can be canceled or rescheduled by phone at least 48 hours ahead.

The menu is organized around BAYBE Blonding, which covers gloss toner, rootlifts, partial and full balayage, highlights and full bleach and tone. Other services include color enhancements, men's, women's and children's cuts, curly haircuts, silk press, Brazilian Blowout, scalp and hydration treatments, sew-in and tape-in extension work, and full-face makeup. A hydration and scalp reset can be added to any service or booked alone with a blowout.

Bridal consultations are by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and carry a $100 non-refundable deposit that goes toward a package once the wedding is booked. The It's Your Day package is $250 and includes a day-of hairstyle and travel up to 18 miles, with $6 per additional 10 miles. The Small but Sweet package is $600 for up to four people and includes the bride's day-of hairstyle, three bridesmaids and travel up to 20 miles, with the same per-mile charge beyond that.

The salon has WiFi, a snack bar, and beer and wine, and it is listed as kid friendly. English and Spanish are spoken. Street parking is available, and paid parking is at Fisherman's Landing.

The salon works as a group of self-employed stylists, each with their own range of skills, working hours and rates. Before every appointment, a personalised colour record is built for each client.
