Batty Beauty operates from a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites at Southpark Meadows, on the Interstate 35 frontage road in south Austin. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. It is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Lash extensions are the core of the menu. Classic sets place one extension on each natural lash, hybrid sets use six extensions per natural lash, and volume sets use ten. Wet set and manga sets give a bolder, textured, spiky finish. Extensions come in lengths from 8 to 16 mm, and spikes can be added to classic and hybrid sets for an extra $10. New sets run about two hours. Fills are priced by length of visit, with 60- and 90-minute options for each style, and the studio suggests how often to book them based on the style. Manga sets are booked as volume fills with at least a 90-minute fill. A lash lift with tint, lasting about six weeks, is also offered, and nourishing serum sachets can be added for $5.

On the hair side, the studio installs tinsel hair by microbead, which lasts up to six weeks. It comes in ten or more colors, from sky blue and green to gold, champagne gold, rose red and purple. Single-strand additions are sold in packs of ten, and double strands are also available. Vivid Color Refresh is a two-hour semi-permanent vivid color service that includes the first 4 oz of color, with extra color at $20 per 2 oz. Clients whose previous color was done at Batty Beauty can book it directly, and clients who color elsewhere can book a free consultation first. A 30-minute deep conditioning treatment is also available, with hair lightly dried before styling, which is charged separately.

Booking prices are all-inclusive and gratuity-free. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50 percent of the service price, and arriving 15 minutes or more late means the appointment must be rebooked. No visitors are allowed, and masks are optional. Lash clients should arrive with clean eyes free of makeup or oil; removing makeup on site costs a $15 fee and the time is taken from the session. A full set is required if more than four weeks have passed since the last fill or if less than 40 percent of extensions remain on either eye. Foreign lash fills are accepted, though a removal and full set may be needed if the stylist cannot work with them. Lash services are not guaranteed and completed services are not refunded, so concerns must be raised within 48 hours. Cell phone use is not allowed during lash services.
