The business describes itself as a private studio where appointments are personal and no one is judged. Its stated aim is for clients to feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish, and a drink or snack is offered during visits. Waxing is offered to men as well as women. Clients wait in the front lobby and are called back at their appointment time. Free parking is directly outside the building, but there is no sign visible from the lot, so look for the Lash Boutique sign and the Bare Wax Company decal at the door. Hours are Monday 9am to 3pm, Tuesday closed, Wednesday and Thursday 2pm to 8pm, Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm.

Complimentary touch-ups are offered within three days of the original appointment. Preparation guidance suggests about three weeks of growth, roughly a quarter inch, with no trimming beforehand, and gentle exfoliation the week before but not on the day. Clients are advised to avoid heavy lotions, body oils, deodorant on the waxed area and self-tanner on wax day. For 24 to 48 hours after a wax, heavy workouts, hot tubs, saunas and very hot showers are best avoided. A first-time wax guide covers preparation, aftercare and common questions. Clients should tell staff about medications, topical skincare, recent treatments, sunburn or skin irritation before a visit.

The business also runs the Private Waxing Intensive, a three-day one-on-one waxing training for current esthetics or cosmetology students and licensed estheticians or cosmetologists. It costs $1,800, with payment plans available, and applications are made by contacting the business. The course includes live demonstrations on real models, hands-on practice, full-body technique, positioning, speed, client experience, troubleshooting and business basics, plus vendor recommendations. Lunch and drinks are provided each day, and participants receive a certificate of completion and ongoing access to the instructor.
