Bare Body opened in 2015, when owner Gina Marie DeGroat decided to start a business of her own. The salon describes its work as luxury waxing and customized skincare, and offers waxing, facials, and lash and brow services.

All waxing is done with hard wax beads only. Waxing packages are sold as buy-six-get-one-free or buy-nine-get-two-free bundles. Examples include a buy-six-get-one-free full leg wax package listed at $480 and a buy-nine-get-two-free eyebrow wax package at $162. Passes and packages are non-refundable.

Facials are chosen by skin need. Bare Body Express is a double cleanse, exfoliation, a custom masque and hydration. The Ultra-Calming facial is for sensitive, itchy skin and includes an oatmeal masque. The Dermal-Clay facial is a deep cleanse for oily skin using kaolin and green clay. The Anti-Aging facial uses a multivitamin exfoliant and an anti-aging masque. All facial services use Dermalogica, Skin Script RX and Face Reality products.

Lash and brow services include tinting in several shades. Eyebrow tint is offered in black, middle brown or light brown, and eyelash tint in blue or black. A combined eyelash and eyebrow tint is also available in all of those colors. A lash lift and tint is a lash perm that takes about an hour and lasts four to six weeks, with the tint color of choice included.

Clients are asked to shower and exfoliate before a waxing visit, avoid lotions, gels and oils beforehand, skip tanning for 24 hours before, and limit alcohol and caffeine. Same-day appointments are requested by text. A $20 fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead, and arriving six minutes late means the appointment is rescheduled.
