Founded by editorial stylist Angela Soto, BAJA Studio is a small hair salon in SoHo. The salon says it works with all hair types and aims to enhance a client's natural beauty while staying open to creative change and the shifts of each season.

About

The menu covers men's and women's haircuts, color from single process and highlights through to gloss, retouch and creative or correction work, keratin, Cezanne, Brazilian Blowout, and natural hair services such as locs, two-strand twists, coil twists and sew-in weave. Scalp and conditioning treatments include the Oribe Mask, K18 Treatment, ROZ Scalp Treatment and Willow Glen, which combines a pre-shampoo oil, a salt scalp scrub with massage, and a deep conditioning mask.

Booking requires a credit card to hold an appointment. A missed appointment without notice is charged in full, and a last-minute cancellation is charged half the service price. Virtual consultations are offered for every service and are required for new clients booking color or keratin. New clients can also send a photo of themselves and an inspiration image ahead of their visit.

The studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday.

The studio's philosophy is to bring out a client's natural look while staying open to creative change and the seasonal evolution of style.
