Services are booked à la carte. A visit starts with a consultation, which is also where blonding, color correction and extension questions are discussed, and where clients receive an estimated price range. Pricing follows Parts & Labor, which separates labor from product costs, so the final price reflects the actual time and products used. Color services do not include a blow dry automatically, but one can be requested when booking. A complimentary self styling station with professional products and hot tools is available. Some services can be booked online; highlights, balayage, corrective color and major transformations must be booked by calling the salon. New clients booking color pay a $100 deposit, which is applied to the service but not refunded if the appointment is canceled.

The smoothing menu includes Brazilian Blow Out, which adds a protective protein layer around the hair to reduce frizz and is offered for all hair types. The salon says it has no downtime and cuts blow-dry time in half. Kerasilk Keratin Treatment smooths curly, wavy or frizzy hair for up to five months and comes in two options: a control service that changes shape and a refinement service for surface frizz. Davines B3-Intensive is a repair and conditioning treatment described as strengthening the hair's inner structure, lasting up to 12 washes.

Booking policies are firm: cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours notice, late cancellations are charged 50 percent of the service cost, and no-shows are charged 50 percent for a first occurrence and 100 percent for a second, payable before booking again. Clients who are unhappy with a result should reach out within seven days, and redo adjustments are offered within one week of the last visit. Product purchases can be exchanged within 30 days or returned for salon credit. Gratuity can be given in cash, check or Venmo, but not by credit card.

The salon launched the Bacio Salon Compassion Fund, which gives direct help to people in the local community facing challenges. Donations can be made in salon, online or at community events. Bacio was an official honoree in the philanthropy category of Salon Today Top 200, was featured in Midtown Magazine for leadership with heart, and is described by Triangle Family Magazine as a national award winner for philanthropy. The Model Program offers services at a reduced rate, or occasionally at no cost, in exchange for models for haircuts, color, grey blending, smoothing, extensions and styling; applying does not guarantee selection. The salon is hiring stylists, associates and front desk support, and says it supports its stylists with ongoing education, resources and a team environment.
