AURA HAIR COLLABORATIVE

Aura Hair Collaborative is an independent stylist salon in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It grew out of an idea shared by two close friends who wanted a salon that also served as a community space. Charlene and Holly, the co-owners, both work in the chairs alongside independent stylists Jocelyn and Kelsey.

The salon describes itself as thriving in custom color. Work runs from dimensional, sun-kissed tones to bold, vivid transformations, including copper, blonde, brunette, and vivid shades. Haircuts are shaped around each client's features, hair texture, and daily routine, with soft structure and shapes meant to grow out well.

Extensions are fully personalized, from subtle added volume to significant added length. They are blended for a natural look and made with luxe hair.

Each visit starts with learning what the client has in mind, how they live, and what makes their style theirs. Stylists are independent, so each one brings their own artistry and expertise to their chair. Booking runs through an online form, but submitting it does not hold a time; the salon replies within 48 hours to say whether it can accommodate the request. When booking, clients can request a particular stylist or no preference, and choose whether follow-up comes by text or phone call.

The salon starts every service by learning what the client envisions and how they live, and treats keeping hair healthy as its first priority.
