Artistry by Alicia is a Charlotte studio offering professional makeup, waxing, and makeover classes, with customized skincare work as part of its focus. It is located in Suite 133 on David Taylor Drive.

The makeup menu starts with a full-face Glam Makeover for $125, which includes cleansing, toning, and moisturizing before the makeup is applied. On-site glam makeovers take place at a location the client chooses; the rate varies, and travel within Charlotte city limits is included, while longer distances are charged by mileage. Parking fees and tolls are not included. Photo shoots and special events are priced by quote.

Waxing is done only in the studio, with no in-home or travel appointments. Services cover shaped brows, lip, chin, and full face, arms, legs, and full body, bikini and Brazilian waxing, and grooming waxes for men. Premium wax formulas are used, with hard wax for body work and soft wax for brows and lip. Clients are asked to have hair about a quarter inch long and to wait at least three weeks after shaving. The studio says it follows high standards of cleanliness and never double-dips.

Classes include a one-hour Mini Makeover, which starts at $125 and can be extended for added tutorials or time, and a 2.5-hour Full Makeover for $300 that teaches clients to apply their own daily or dramatic looks. The full session is not for current or aspiring makeup artists. Wax Theory: Bikinis and Brazilians 101 is a five-hour course at $595 covering sanitation, skin conditions, product suggestions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice; it is limited to licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, and current students, and includes a training manual and certificate of completion. A Wax Kit is available to buy for an additional fee. Booking is available online or by contacting the studio.
