Arch Beauty Lab is based in Suite 222 at 1235 W Chestnut Street in Union, New Jersey, and brings lash, brow, waxing and permanent makeup services under one roof. Hours run Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, with the studio closed on Sundays and Mondays.

About

Lash work covers classic, hybrid and volume extensions. Classic sets place one extension on each natural lash for a natural look, hybrid sets add lightweight volume fans to that placement, and volume sets use handmade fans of three to five ultra-light lashes on each natural lash. Fills are usually booked every two to three weeks. A visit only counts as a fill when at least 40% of the extensions remain; if fewer remain, an extra charge or a full set may be needed. Lashes previously done by another artist that cannot be worked on require a removal and a full set. Yumi lash lifts use a keratin-based treatment with a custom lash tint and last eight to twelve weeks.

Brow services include eyebrow tinting, which starts with full brow mapping, and a three-step keratin brow lamination that sets brow hairs for up to eight weeks. Lamination does not include brow clean-up or tinting, so those are booked separately. Clients are asked to avoid tweezing, waxing and trimming for at least two weeks beforehand and to stop Retin-A products for the same period. Permanent makeup options include powder brows, combo brows, nano brows, lip blush and lash-line eyeliner. The salon describes nano brows as machine-drawn hair strokes that cause less skin trauma than microblading, and describes powder brows as a soft, filled-in look suited to all skin types. Clients whose permanent makeup was done elsewhere need a consultation before powder, combo or nano brows, and touch-up pricing only applies to work first done at the studio.

Online bookings require a deposit that differs by service. Cancellations carry a 50% fee, so clients are asked to let the salon know as early as possible if they need to reschedule. Lash and brow packages save between $20 and $40 compared with booking separately, and package credits apply automatically at checkout when booked on the services page. Clients booking waxing or tinting are asked to disclose products such as Accutane, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and bleaching agents.
