All ages and genders are welcome, including people with natural curl texture and children with curls.

Every appointment starts with a personalized consultation. Curl cutting can be done wet, dry, or a combination, chosen for each client's curl pattern, and each client's curls are assessed on their own to find a shape that suits them. Styling is done with the curls in their natural state, and the salon offers a Healthy Hair and Scalp Analysis that leads to a home care plan and product recommendations matched to porosity, curl type, scalp concerns and the client's routine. Clients can take home the products and tools used during their visit and can contact staff with questions or feedback afterward.

Color is done with Keune, which the salon says is low in ammonia and suitable for sensitive skin. Several curl specialists work at the salon and the team works together, so clients may see more than one of them. New stylists complete the Curl Immersion Internship, and interns offer services at a discounted rate while they learn. Prices are given as ranges that vary by stylist, hair type and the amount of color used, and each curl specialist sets pricing based on experience and skill.

Booking is available online or by phone, and walk-ins are welcome when an appointment is open, though booking ahead is recommended. To get the most from a visit, clients should arrive with curls detangled, completely dry and worn down in their natural state, without ponytails, twists, braids or buns. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and no-call/no-shows are charged 50% of the service, then 100% after one no-show. Free parking is available in the lot behind the salon, and the nearby Creekside area has free on-street parking and a free garage about a block away.
