Amanda came to beauty by way of marketing, holding a bachelor's degree in that field before deciding to pursue cosmetology. She trained with Paul Mitchell Systems and keeps taking classes to build her hair skills. Her work centers on lived-in color and hair extensions, and she is known for soft, loose waves.
Visits are all a la carte, and the listed prices are starting points that move with hair length, density and the result a client wants. Appointments require a credit card to hold the booking. Arriving more than 10 minutes late means some booked services may be dropped, and arriving more than 20 minutes late means services cannot be completed. Clients who do not show up lose booking privileges permanently.
Problems with a cut or color should be reported within 7 days of the visit, and errors in execution are corrected at no charge. A result that differs from what was agreed at consultation can be handled through a refinement rate quoted by the salon, while redo requests after 7 days are billed at menu price. Services are non-refundable. Retail products can be exchanged at full credit within 30 days of purchase, and products returned between 30 and 90 days after purchase earn a 50% exchange credit.
Extensions begin with a consultation, which carries a non-refundable deposit equal to half the agreed total. Extensions need a move-up every 6 to 8 weeks, and a move-up after 8 weeks may carry an added fee. New guests complete a form about allergies, hair history and goals and send reference photos after booking.
Consultations focus on hair health and on the client's concerns and goals, with product choices made with care for the hair.
