Allure Pelvic Wellness and Aesthetic Gynecology was founded by Dr. Sonya Ephraim as a private practice, created to offer treatments that are not always available in a traditional hospital-based setting. The stated mission is to help women live full lives through health, wellness and aesthetic care, with a particular focus on women in the perimenopausal and menopausal years.

The practice brings together several areas under one roof: aesthetic treatments such as Botox, injectable fillers and Morpheus8V RF microneedling; body treatments including Morpheus Body and Evolve X body contouring; cosmetic gynecology procedures such as Aviva Scarless Labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction, hymenoplasty, perineoplasty, vaginoplasty and laser or radiofrequency vaginal rejuvenation; and pelvic floor and urogynecology care, including Pelvic Floor Therapy, urodynamic testing and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. Hormone replacement therapy is personalized to each patient, and the practice also offers the O-Shot, which uses platelet-rich plasma drawn from the patient's own blood, performed in the office.

Weight loss care is medically monitored and begins with a medical evaluation, which can be started with an online assessment. Each patient receives an individual plan, and specialists track progress and adjust it over time. Semaglutide is typically recommended for a BMI of 27 or higher with weight-related health problems, or a BMI of 30 or higher regardless of other conditions. For postmenopausal patients, it may be combined with hormone therapy.

The initial consultation is a self-pay visit of about 45 minutes with a $300 fee. A 30% deposit is taken at scheduling and applied toward that fee on the day of the visit, and the remaining balance is due at the time of service. For Botox and filler consultations, the consultation charge can be applied to the cost of treatment. The practice bills patients directly rather than through insurance, accepts most major plans for covered medical services, and accepts CareCredit. Staff help check insurance benefits before a visit when possible, though the insurer makes the final coverage decision.

Treatment is offered both surgically and non-surgically, with individualized plans built after assessing the factors affecting each patient's health. Conservative options are often offered first, and patient education is central, with an explanation of the underlying cause of a condition and of minimally invasive options.
