Earlier, she worked as a general OB/GYN in Rockford, Illinois for more than four years and ran a private practice in eastern Pennsylvania for four years. Later she was Chief of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Mercyhealth in Rockford and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. She has 16 years of surgical experience.
Her clinical focus covers menopause, vaginal atrophy, painful intercourse, lichen sclerosus, cosmetic gynecology, and sexual dysfunction, along with stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor reconstruction. She performs the medical evaluations for the practice's medically monitored weight loss patients. Outside the clinic, she gives talks on women's health to organizations, most recently the Forum for Executive Women, and creates social media content for WebMD.
