AjbutiBar is run by its owner, Ashley Jeffrey, and focuses on silk presses, extensions and treatments meant to restore and maintain hair strength. The business says it educates clients on proper hair care and maintenance, and it tailors each visit to the individual client's hair needs.

There are three silk press options. A Silk Press is $135 and takes about 2 hours. A Plush Silk Press is $160 and takes about 2 hours 20 minutes. The Silk Experience is $270 and takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. The menu also covers maintenance services, chemical services, sew-ins and quick weaves, wig services and add-ons.

Clients are asked to detangle their hair before a service. Detangling is charged at $50 for each 30 minutes after the first 5 minutes. Booking requires a $30 non-refundable deposit, and the rest is paid in the shop by card.

Appointments need to be canceled at least 48 hours ahead, or 50% of the service fee is charged. Arriving more than 10 minutes late incurs a $30 fee, and after 15 minutes the appointment may be canceled or shortened. No-shows are blocked from future booking and charged full price.

Wig clients should bring their wigs in 3 days before the service date. Used lace wigs are only accepted if the business installed them previously, and only units and bundles sourced from the business are colored. Children under 12 are not accepted. The shop is open Wednesday to Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm.
