Afterglow has been owned by Denise for 23 years as of February 2025. The studio's menu runs from quick facials and non-chemical treatments to microcurrent, LED, ultrasound and diamond-tip treatments, and also includes peels, makeup, waxing and brow and lash tinting.

The studio says results and client satisfaction are its top priorities. Facials are adjusted to each client's skin on the day of the visit. Denise researches treatments, facials and products and tests them herself before they join the menu, and she often builds plans that pair in-studio treatments with care at home.

New clients print and complete the New Client Form found on the About page and bring it to their first appointment. Peel type and strength are chosen by the esthetician based on the client's skin. Microcurrent and Diamond Abrasion are recommended as a series for longer-lasting results, and the studio suggests six or more Red Carpet treatments for more dramatic change; series pricing is given on request. Appointments need 24 hours' notice for changes or cancellations, or 48 hours for Saturdays, and late cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50% of the service cost.

Clients who cannot come in can book a virtual consultation by phone or Skype for $100. It requires a completed consultation form and a close-up, makeup-free selfie of the face from all sides, and payment is taken at booking. $25 of the fee goes toward skincare products recommended during the consultation. Consultations are offered for Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare and Glymed Plus products. Gift certificates are also available.

Treatments are customized to each client's skin on the day, and the studio combines in-studio work with at-home care. The studio describes results and client satisfaction as its top priorities.
