Denise

Denise owns Afterglow and works as a Master Esthetician there. She is a licensed Master Esthetician and a Licensed Esthetic Educator in Rhode Island, and she also holds a Massachusetts aestheticians license. She trained at the Aveda Institute in 2013 and continues professional education every year. Her background includes extensive work in spa and medical esthetic settings. She was an educator for Raja Medical in microcurrent, LED light therapy and microdermabrasion, and she spent six years as a makeup artist for Laura Mercier. Denise works with clients who want to reverse existing skin damage and with younger clients starting a healthy skincare routine. She researches skin treatments, facials and products and tests them personally before adding them to the menu, and she builds customized skin care plans that combine in-studio treatments with at-home care. She is a member of the Nutritional Esthetics Alliance and Associated Skin Care Professionals, and she is Reiki certified.
